It’s Christmas time and Lindsay Lohan knows how to make a comeback. Lindsay Lohan hasn’t been filmed since 2018 and now she’s back. She’s starring in a new Christmas movie called “Falling for Christmas” and has proven that she’s not rusty when it comes to acting. 

It begins with Sierra Belmont (Lindsay Lohan) being assigned to the position of Vice President of Atmosphere by her wealthy father, an owner of a ski resort; however, Sierra does not want to upset her father by taking the job. 

Tad, her boyfriend, takes her to a remote mountain to propose, but as soon as he pulls out the ring to ask her, she slips and falls. As she falls to the bottom, she hits her head on a tree causing her to develop amnesia and lose memory. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a hospital with Jake Russel (Chord Oversteer) who found her passed out at the bottom of the mountain. Jake offers Sierra a room at his bed and breakfast hotel, the Northstar Lodge. 

He has a daughter named Alejandra, but Sierra and Jake call her Avy since Sierra can’t remember her name. He had a wife (Carla), but she passed away due to an illness a few years ago. When Sierra cannot remember her name, she adopts the name Sarah after Jake’s daughter. She has helped raise Avy for two years with Jake’s mother-in-law, who runs the Northstar Lodge with Jake. 

It takes a long time for Avy and Serria to develop a strong bond. Sierra tries desperately to remember who she is and what happened but as time goes on she discovers who she wants to be. Jake’s daughter Avy makes her Christmas wish, she wishes that Jake a Sierra will fall in love. Her father and Tad finally track her down she suddenly starts to regain her memories again and realizes she is starting to develop feelings for Jake and eventually confesses his feelings for Sierra. 

Serria decides to stay with Jake and Avy at the north star rather than remind engaged to a social media-obsessed Tad or take up a job position she didn’t want from her father. While forgetting who she was she discovers who she is. 

One of the best things about this movie is I think it gives such a great message about kindness, love, and giving back and that is what Christmas is all about the characters played their roles very well and all have unique personalities. 

Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet form such a great connection within the movie and Sierra sets such a good example for Jake’s little girl Avy. 

This movie makes me feel very happy and in the Christmas spirit. I did like this movie and it seems to be a great pick for kids. Netflix usually put out more adult content than family content so it is different than what I thought it would be. Despite it, it all seems like a great Christmas movie for the holidays.
