As the holidays are approaching our school is kicking off our holiday spirit days. The students will create amazing outfits to show off throughout the week. On the first day of the week, we start by wearing our pajamas to school. On Tuesday it’s Camo vs Reindeer. Then on Wednesday, we have Ugly Sweater Day. On Thursday we have New Year’s Day. Finally, on Friday, we have Winter Wonderland.
We kicked off Spirit Week on Monday with Pajama Day. Students had the opportunity to come to school in their coziest PJs. To add to the festivity of this spirit week, most students wore holiday pajamas with colorful prints and patterns. The hallways were filled with students wearing hoodies, pajamas, slippers, robes, etc. PJ Day was a great way to jump into spirit week by being cute and comfy.
On Tuesday, students dressed as Camo vs reindeer. It is one of the most fun and exciting themes of Spirit Week. Many students choose between wearing camo and dressing up as a reindeer. The friendly rivalry between the two sparks emotion and energy. The students and staff compete to see which side can show the most school spirit. Whether you’re blending in with camo or showing the holiday spirit dressed as a reindeer, there is plenty of excitement throughout the halls.
On Wednesday the theme was Ugly Sweater Day. Ugly Sweater Day is where you dress up in your most colorful, Christmas spirit, and bright sweater. From sweaters with glittery snowflakes to funny reindeer patterns, you can find almost anything that captures the holidays in a silly way. It has become a tradition in many schools to wear the most outrageous sweaters to celebrate the holidays. It is a fun way to create long-lasting memories for this holiday season.
On Thursday, students got their sparkle on with the New Year’s Day theme. To celebrate the New Year’s cheer, students wore their most shiny and glittery clothes! The halls were filled with glitter and glam with gold, silver, and black clothing. Many also wore sparkly clothes and glittering accessories. The atmosphere was vibrant and dazzling with many mixes of color and cheer!
To end the winter spirit week, students showed up to school in their most festive winter clothes. Friday’s theme was Winter Wonderland and students dressed in shades of blue and white. Some students even added sparkly accessories to match their outfits. The halls looked like a snowy scene and it made the atmosphere fun and comfy. Overall, the students celebrated the winter season in style. This was a great way to end the week!
As holiday spirit week has ended, we can look back and remember the memories we made by dressing up with friends. Dressing up with friends provides a fun and festive way for students to get into the holiday spirit and deck the halls. Whether it is wearing your favorite Christmas pajamas or your ugly Christmas sweater, many students always look forward to decking out and finding outfits for the week.
