It’s Time For The Feminine Product Drive!
The Feminine Product Drive is being held from March 9th to March 20th.
The Women’s History class offered here at LHS is conducting this drive. The products donated will benefit “Services to Abused Families” or “SAFE.”
SAFE is an organization that provides shelter, support, and advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our local area. The purpose of the drive is to collect feminine products such as tampons and pads to donate to SAFE so they can then provide them to women in need.
Feminine products are one of the least donated items in homeless shelters yet they are the most needed product. Donating to the drive is simple and easy. Bring in feminine products to your favorite teacher.
Teachers will have an accumulating pile in their room that will be picked up. The department with the most donations will win bragging rights.
The history department has won every drive that has occured in the past. Make sure to bring in products and to also check out all of the amazing things the Women in History class has put together for Women’s History Month.

I think that this is something great happening at Liberty. I really wish they would do it again this year as well. I am glad that they are helping people who need the help.

This is a good thing for the school to do because we are helping out women and girls who cant afford these things.
